In addition to sourcing rod components from a number of suppliers, Aefauld also manufactures a range of fly rod components which are often used on the rods I make and that are also available to buy also if you are building your own rod. These components are generally limited to sizes and types I use and can fabricate with the machinery and material available to me. Details and prices are below. Super swiss style ferrules made with nickel silver. Require lapping for proper fit. Sizes available are 11, 12, 13 and 14. A two piece set (one male and one female) costs $80. A three piece set (two males and one female) costs $100.

Reel seat rings and caps
Machined from nickel silver or aluminium, these slide bands, cork checks and end caps can be used with your choice of wood or cork insert (I don't sell the wood inserts). Suit a mortised spacer diameter 16.7mm (0.66"). Cork check and slide bands cost $20 each and end cap cost is $40.
